Our projects
Our organization is involved in numerous projects and outreaches
Across CHEFTA, PC Advocacy Network and Skin programming, our programs advance a people centric, human rights and community networks approach. we target key populations often left behind in programming: Women, girls, the elderly, disabled and SME’s.
HEALTH FINANCING
Our SHI for all program focuses on increasing the delivery of the NHI to the informal sector and the indigent groups. We are targeting the inclusion of 10,000 SME’s and 1000 elderly and disabled in 2022/23.
Health TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENTS
Our HTA program delivers both macro and micro HTA by supporting the use of systematic decision making process in allocating health budgets and involvement of the public in value for money approaches including cost-effectiveness analysis.
Disease Identification and Management
1. Skin Conditions.Through our PCI Health Vitiligo Support Group, PCI Health Aplastic Dermatitis Support Group and all NTD Skin Support Groups, we provide healthcare and social support to empower patients to improve their quality of life. We are actively recruiting and linking patients to skin doctors, medical support and a caring network of others changing the narrative skin conditions.
(2) Our Early intended Pregnancy program support young people to have access to peer information, counselling and products to support their decisions on reproductive health.
Network Advocacy for patient and citizen involvement
Patients and the public have continued to incur out of pocket payment for regular care and the care of rare diseases, with delayed access to healthcare resulting into loss of Health Related Quality of life. Our project focuses own networking all patient groups across the compendium of care, generating evidence of public values and linking the citizen voice into decision making at hospital and policy levels.
